This year's Red Ribbon Fashion Gala was special for raising money to build a training center for the orphaned kids living with HIV/AIDS at THT organization.In order to do so, tickets that were sold and different auctions that were done contributed directly towards this cause. This is how it went down;
Khadija Mwanamboka,the founder of Red Ribbon Fashion Gala welcomed us to the venue
The MC of the night was non other than Taji Liundi!
Together with the ambassador for Red Ribbon Fashion Gala (Supermodel Flaviana Matata), they facilitated the auctioning process. Flaviana brought with her four items donated by Russel Simmons
One of those items were these African beads, which were auctioned for 1 million Tshs, to Madam Ritha Paulsen of Benchmark Production
Other items were Russell's favorite sneakers, Baseball cap and his book "Super Rich". All items were sold to Jacqueline Ntuyabaliwe for 4 million Tshs. Later On, Jacque sold the Sneakers and baseball cap for 2 million Tshs, making it to 6 million Tshs for the three items!!
This amazingly beautiful dress by American designer Sheryl Hill, together with its Orange sister below;
Each went for 4 million Tshs, making it 8 million for the two dresses!
And this Eve Collection dress won by Madam Ritha, was sold to Tanzanian actor Steven Kanumba for 1.2 million Tshs.
Among the guest list in this event was Kiki Zimba and Mwamvita Makamba...
