It was a great event! Alot of unpredictable results, lots of suspense and of course, lots of cries from fans :) This Year's Tuzo za Watu took place at Hyatt Regency, the Kilimanjaro on Friday 22nd. The event witnessed the presence of many A-List celebrities from music, film, fashion, media and other industries.  There were 10 categories in this People's Choice Awards event, and here are the winners
For Blog/Website category, Millard Ayo scooped the award. Although he was nominated for Radio Presenter and Radio program categories, he only left with one "Thumbs Up" trophy :)
The other two went to D'Jaro, a radio presenter from TBC FM. His voice and his PAPASO Radio program saw him taking home two awards.
Wema Sepetu scooped the "Female Actress" category
While Zamaradi went home with People's Choice,Movie category for her film,Kigodoro
Salim Kikeke of BBC Swahili took yet another award for TV Presenter, same as last year...
This was one big surprise as TBC scooped the radio presenter and radio program awards...I guess fans got awakened that, Clouds FM is only popular in major cities and TBC FM is countrywide!
While Wema went home with best Actress, Hemed was named winner of the People's Choice,Actor award
Hanscana grabbed the award for Music Video director...such a young inspiring hard worker!
Lady Jaydee took Female Vocalist while Male vocalist award went to Ali Kiba. And for Movie Director, Vicent "Ray" Kigosi won the award. It is all the hard work of these two love birds,Nancy Sumari and Luca Neghesti, owners of Bongo5 Media that organizes Tuzo za Watu
For Year Two, this was an amazing improvement! Can't wait to see what year three will have to offer, hopefully more categories and entertainment :)
So,in case you missed our LIVE Updates on Instagram,Twitter and Facebook....that's what took place last night at Tuzo za Watu.

See ya at the next event on the calendar....remember, M.P Blog and its social media accounts bring you all updates,LIVE!
